Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Food was excellent, a little pricey. Portions were a little too big depending on what you order, the specialty lasagna is wonderful but I recommend splitting it among two people.. way too much to eat alone and if going before the theater you can't take the leftovers with you. Bond 45 is a great choice for a business lunch in the theatre district. Their menu is not too challenging, but at the same time it is "fit for foodies" so there is something for everyone. Their fresh burrata, made daily, is amazing. The service is excellent. It can get a little loud at lunch before a Wednesday matinee, simply because it gets very busy, but nonetheless I recommend it any day of the week.
I come to the City for business pretty regularly, and over the years I have had the opportunity to dine at many of the "finer" restaurants in and around Manhattan. And while Bond 45 is neither the most expensive, nor the most celebrated, in my opinion it offers the best combination of amazing food, outstanding service, and great atmosphere. It is my favorite restaurant in New York City.

From the professional greeting at the door, quickly seated, in a super room with Italian ambiance, attentive service and flavorful Italian food.
We've been to Broadway twice and both times and chosen Bond 45 - the service is wonderful and we always appreciate being on time for the show!
Food was delicious! I personally recommend the pear and arugula salad, the vegetarian parmigiana, and the New York cheesecake (yum!)
