Huge restaurant in the theatre district so great for pre-theatre, lively atmosphere, nice server, attentive wait staff, delicious food.
Menu has lots of great choices and specials. Had the chicken pepperoni Parmesan. Delicious and different
Love this place, been here 3x now. This last wednesday the 28th was the best (waiter was Mark B). We live in NYC, very few good restaurants in times square, this place is solid. Now the only thing I've eaten their is the lasagab b/c it is a must have. Long and flat, good balance of meat n pasta. Definitive would recommend this place if your are in times square! Best italian or restaurant in NYC (no), but still a great place to go for dinner before a show
After eating at Bond 45 for years, especially pre-theater, we arrived to find a much diminished menu, which the server acknowledges "trying to be more of a steak place". The antipasta selection had disappeared. The prices were very high, with a rib-eye at $65 with no sides, so if one ate that plus two sides, you'd be at $80plus per person. Great food, excellent service.
Really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere! Perfect spot to grab some Classic Italian before hitting the theatre. Gotta try the Veal Parmigiana! Service was excellent as well.
We were looking for an easy meal that was nearby. We had 4 kids with us so did not want to go upmarket. My memory of Bond 45 was of a place that was informal with pastas, etc for children. Not so, anymore! Food was OK - but not worthy of the price tags. Paying those prices, I would go someplace where I know I was going to get really good food.
I have been coming here for years and always feel like part of the family! The drinks are simply amazing and the antipasti is top-notch. I preferred the old menu and hope they bring back the fabulous thick grilled veal chop! Don't miss the chocolate mousse dessert.
