Had passed by Bond 45 for many years but never dared to go in. Being of Italian heritage from Brooklyn, we don't usually eat Italian out, but mostly hadn't tried it because it just doesn't "sound" Italian. Well, after theater-going for more than 40 years and having tried many of the finer restaurants in the Times Square area, Bond was one of the few we hand't. This is the 5th time we've dined at Bond 45. Whenever we are in the city we make this a must stop. Each time we bring different friends & they all rave about the service & the food. Not only do we love eating here we also get points for reserving from Open Table.
We love Bond 45 - so convenient to Theater area. Food is always great! Beautiful spacious restaurant. Delicious vegetable antipasto bar. Waiters come around with warm Choclate chip cookies. Leave happy every time.

I was responsible for show tickets and dinner reservations for 4 couples' NYC weekend. I booked Bond 45 because of the location and the menu and was pleasantly surprised about what a great spot it is! We live in NJ so will easily be back there again!
Since this restaurant always seems to make the top places to dine in the theater district, we thought we'd try it. Not impressed. We thought the Brunch menu was pricey. My husband and I opted for a pasta dish and they were both good, but not outstanding. We didn't see the server walking around with a bread basket until we had finished our meal. Never disappoints. We always go for dinner here before a show.
I just love the beautiful antipasto display on your left when you enter the restaurant, and the bowl of toffee at the host/hostess table. Usually a meal of fried artichokes and burrata, along with some vegetable choices from the antipasto menu is a meal. We celebrated a birthday this last time, and it was made perfect by a slice of amazing cheesecake adorned with a sparkler, and complimentary champagne. This is iPhone of my favorite theater district restaurants!
