Hot....as in we were literally sweating in our seats! Our group was seated towards the front of the restaurant and although the "old New York" vibe was cool, we couldn't feel any a/c circulating in the front of the restaurant. We asked our server(who was also sweating)about it and he laughed, saying next time to sit towards the back. The food was good. If you haven't been to Bond45, you should try it. The misto bar has lots of dishes that are great. The artichoke, house specialty is a must try. We had fish, that was delicious. The Dorado with lumb crab was excellent and the lobster risotto had lots of flavor and sauce for great dunking!
The outside is a bit flashy which they do not show on the website, but the inside is a more traditional Italian restaurant. I was there with a friend before an 8pm show. Our waiter was excellent and made sure we would be on time for our show. This is a perfect location for dinner before the theater. I am a vegetarian and there was a good selection of options.
We have been eating at Bond for years and have always been please. Last two times we were disappointed in the quality of the food. At these prices, we expect more than just good service.
Our group of six made a reservation at Bond 45 for 11:00 pm to eat after our 8:00 show. We had eaten at Bond before, so we already knew that our friends with is would enjoy it. Bond 45 is a great option post-show for quality dining when many restaurants are getting ready to close. Their lasagna is unique and worth getting. I recommend sharing it with another person...or two other people. It's huge. You won't be disappointed.
If you are looking for authentic New York style cheesecake then this is the place! It is the best we have had in NYC.
We weren't sure what to expect from this place, since the facade is a bit "loud" and it's right in Times Square. But we wanted to go someplace before a show, and this seemed like a good spot. We were SO blown away by what a great experience we had. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jeremiah was OUTSTANDING. Would definitely go back, especially the next time we go to a Broadway show.
Great for pre-theatre dinner. Service is very good. Nice wine list and excellent specials. Food is very fresh and tasty.
Arrived for very early dinner, therefore, restaurant was empty. Cannot accurately determine noise level because of the early hour. A favorite dish of ours, which we get at their sister restaurant (Fiorello's) is what we both ordered. It was more outstanding than what we remembered at Fiorello's.
