We were a party of 2, arrived at 12:45 and ordered from Tuna Burgers the Prix Fixed menu. Lunchtime was by no means over....in fact it was just starting. After we ordered our appetizers, which were excellent, the very lovely Maitr D came to the table to tell us the were "out" of tuna burgers and tuna completely. I was surprised since it was early in the lunch time and the restaurant was not that busy. However, the maitr d was nice to offer us lunch from the regular menu and charge just the prix fix. I would give them another... read more
My wife and I dined here while staying in NYC for a Broadway show. The food and staff was fantastic! Our waiter went out of his way to ensure we were treated as special guests. He gave us plenty of suggestions for all of our meal courses, and we weren't disappointed. We can't wait to go back!
My husband and I dined with another couple in celebration of our anniversaries before heading to the theatre. This was not prix fixe. The waiter, sorry forgot his name but was getting married soon was so sweet and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The homemade mozzarella was not your typical buffalo mozzarella but a delectable melt in your mouth treat. We ordered the steaks and risotto and the mushroom medley. With every bite we went to heaven, all so delicious. Must have the vanilla cake covered in meringue and ... read more
We started off the evening with the fried shrimp and calamari. My wife did not care for it because it had fried hot peppers, but I loved it because I'm a big fan of the spicy. The arugula and pear salad was amazing! I would definitely order it again. I had the veal marsala and the wife had the veal parm. Both were exceptional! I love the fact they make their own mozzeralla, it was so delicious. The portions sizes were perfect, although I was stuffed when we left. If your in NYC and was some good Italian food try Bond 45!
Pricey but very convenient to the theater district.
Good Food Good service fun place. Excellent location
The pros first: nice atmosphere overall (visually, seating, noise). The ($48!) veal parmesan - really was fantastic (and it's why we went to this particular restaurant). The cons: I just do not appreciate going to a restaurant (particularly one that is that expensive) and not have the server smile the entire evening. It just irritates me and puts out such a negative vibe. There is an air of pompousness there that I do not enjoy and that takes away from the whole dining experience. I think that for the prices they get, everyt... read more
Woul like to see more brunch choices with Eggs.
Bond 45 knows how turn a bad situation into a great night! We went to the restaurant pre-theatre with a 6 o'clock reservation. Our food didn't end up coming until 7:35 PM, which left us 10 minutes to eat before the show. While we had to eat fast, the steaks were delicious. Because of the kitchen problem in getting our food out, they had us come back after the show for desserts, champagne, and coffee. What an awesome way to cap the evening, and the desserts are phenomenal(especially the Merangue Cream Cake and Moose). Great n... read more
