Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Bond 45 was the total package - good ambiance, good service and great food.
The service was extremely very attentive beginning with the host greeting me by name and with handshake upon arrival. The food was quite good (although I wish it had indicated that the diver scallops were being served with potatoes since I can't eat them). Our order was delivered promptlty.
Good place to go for dinner before a Broadway show or after a matinee. Service was friendly, stopping by to check in at appropriate times. The menu is definitely pricey when it comes to steaks, etc., however, it is was is normal for a special occasion restaurant. The dessert portions were large. The cheese cake light and delicious. Only drawback is the noise level.
Bond 45 is my pre-theater go to. Great Food, fast and reliable service. Don't skip the Zuchinni Parm and the Fried artichokes.
Bond 45 is always a reliable selection when you are in the theater district. For brunch the homemade thin crust pizzas are lovely. However, the best thing is the antipasto vegetable bar which unfortunately is only available for dinner. It's the best. Hot stuffed artichokes are wonderful, as were the stuffed zucchini flowers. There is always a wonderful fish special as well.
Bond 45 is a nice non-touristy option for lunch in the Times Square area / Theater District. I went recently for pre-theater lunch and was impressed with the variety of offerings. Menu had appropriate fare for both my five year-old daughter and her 70 year-old grandmother. Restaurant was not crowded upon our arrival. It's a little overpriced for what it is ($11 for a small bellini) but a nice option in this area of town.
Very good food. Especially the vegetable antipasto selection and the home made mozzarella. Dover sole also excellent but incredibly expensive. I would describe the meal and great, with a shocking ending, the check.
Went to Bond 45 before theater. Family of 5 including two teenage boys and 8 year old girl. Food was excellent and service was attentive and prompt. Only complaint is that it is very expensive for the location. Sixteen dollars for a glass of house wine? Eight dollars for a few strips of prosiutto? It is quite a mark-up. We would go back for sure but be a little more cautious on the prices.
Fabulous Experience! We had a birthday celebration with a psrty of 10. Our waiter made us feel like VIP's; the service, the food and the amenities made for a really really great time. We will definately be returning again and agian.
