Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

A little too loud for my taste, but food was delicious and a perfect portion.
The lemon chicken was great and the cheesecake was great too. Service was fantastic. I would recommend.
The maitre de was very nice. The waiter was nice. The restaurant was extremely crowded and service was inattentive. It was a good thing that we were not in a rush because trying to get someone's attention would have raised my blood pressure. As it was, we had a leisurely meal. Personally, I think it is too expensive, but I find myself going back since it is convenient to the theatre district.
A top pre-theater choice. Food is mostly good and servers will get you out in time for your curtain. Other Italian restaurants in town have kitchens that are as accomplished, so Bond 45 is perhaps not a destination restaurant. But as a pre-theater convenience, it's a genuine pleasure.
Excellent food and service. We had two children with us, 13 and 11 and my 11 year old did not like anything on the menu. The waiter was kind enough to make her a special dish that she absolutely loved. It was an excellent experience.
VERY disappointed. Went there for the pizza only to find out that they no longer serve it for the pre-theater crwod. Only after 8. That is the only reason I went back there. The rest of the food was fine, but not worth a special trip. The Pizza was worth a special trip.
We enjoyed our first meal at Bond 45 last fall, but this visit was disappointing. We chose it because our vegetarian niece was joining us again and she had liked the pizza the first time. When we arrived at 5:30 the menu indicated that pizza was not available until after 8:00. When we asked the waiter whether she could order it, the answer was a flat "No." Not "I'm sorry, it's not possible" or "Let me check" even if he thought it was futile. As usual, my friends and I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious and the refreshments were excellent! The wait staff was attentive and very competent.
Our waiter was very cranky; I felt he rushed us into ordering and was rather curt in answering questions..basically he did not seem concerned whether we had a nice dining experience..
