Bond 45, a New York Italian Kitchen & Bar was originally located on 45th street in the former historic Bond Clothing Store (1948-1977), is now open in its new home on 46th street. Bond 45 is best known for its vegetable antipasto bar which offers a rotating selection of market vegetables and features an expansive menu that include specialty veal chops, seafood, house made pasta, thin crust pizza and breakfast all day.

Bond 45 is one of my favorite restaurants anyway, and this last visit confirmed my opinion. The ambiance is old world supper club and the service is impeccable. I had the caprese salad with extra basil and it was exceptional. My husband pointed out my clean plate, a rarity for me. My main course was tagliolini al forno with prosciutto, also wonderful. It was our anniversary so our excellent waiter brought two Proseccos and a special dessert. Just an exceptional dinner...but we've never had anything less at Bond 45.

While, I was excited about dining at a one of New York's premier institutions for my boyfriend's birthday, I found myself less than impressed with restaurant overall. The restaurant was accommodating as I brought an outside dessert for the special occasion but we were sat in a huge booth next to several large parties. Superlative location for theatre go-ers! But most of all, it provided a clean, safe, comfortable place in which to enjoy very good food and excellent service.
Perfect place to go before the show!! House made mozzarella out of this world! The pasta dishes outstanding! Just right!!
My veal was not good and they readily replaced it with my choice. I was very happy. It's a great spot on Broadway for before the theatre. We always go when we come to nyc.
great food...we ordered 1 course at a time to prevent them from rushing us...VERY expsive...waiter attentive but aloof....i want the manager to have people take off baseball hats and lower their voices without waiting for the rest of us to complain
