The staff was quite gracious as we changed tables twice, too close to the bar and under an a/c vent. Finally a perfect booth. The waiter was quite helpful with recommendations . Our veal chop parmigiana was split in 2 as was the salad. The only disappointment was that we expected a pre theater pre fixe, which we expected.
Very good, incredible bargain 3-course lunch special for $25! Great looking restaurant especially for the Times Square area. Perfect for pre-theater dinners.
While the restaurant is quite attractive with good food, it is clearly priced for the Broadway/Times Square tourists.
Nice place. Was kind of loud & cramped. Kind of high on price.
This is my second time here and we were really disapointed this time. Menu needs help and the prices are ridiculous. $220.00 for two is unacceptable for average food in Manhattan where there's no limit of choices. My only recommendation is the mozzarella, it's overpriced but worth the experience.
Bond 45 iss a good place to get a pre-theatre meal. We arrived for our 6:15 reservation, and encountered a long line to "check in." After waiting in the long line for about 15 minutes, we were guided to a table immediately. Unfortunately our table apparently was being covered by the bar tender. Enjoyed a great dinner before our show. Staff was attentive and ensured the pace of service was quick enough to get us to the theater on time but not too quick so that we didn't feel rushed. Food was tasty and prepared just right.
I've eaten at Bond 45 (as well as the sister restaurants Fiorella and Trat. Dell Arte) many times. We had their famous pizza for lunch. I was FURIOUS when they brought it to the table; they have reduced the size to literally half however THEY DID NOT REDUCE THE $22 price (I thought it was pricey for pizza previously but worth it...not anymore!)
Overall had a wonderful time at Bond 45, the food was excellent, however I was disappointed at being sat at the bar seating area even with a reservation. I felt that there was an inattentiveness from our waiter due to the fact that he was also a bartender.
