I love Bond 45 and eat there everytime we go to NY.
Good service, great location for Broadway patrons. Tasty food with generous portions. The place felt like it had lots of history to it. The bench seating row of tables were a little too close for my taste. The entire table had to be moved for the person on the bench to get out. Despite that it was overall a very enjoyable experience.
Had previously only been here for pre-theatre drinks and frankly did not have high expectations--restaurants that large and boisterous tend to have problems with food and service. But what a pleasant surprise. We were a party of six. Everyone's food was very good, and the portions more than generous. Service was professional, warm, attentive, and charming. The waiter was fine, food good, the place was incredibly noisy and hectic - it was lunch on a Wednesday Matinee day. The prices are very high for what you get!
Excellent choice for a pre-theatre dinner. Wide choice of menu items. The diverse antipasto bar was especially enticing.
Bond 45 continues to be the perfect restaurant for pre-theater dining, and for giving out-of-town guests a great midtown experience. Have never had a bad moment there. The staff is, without exception, cordial, welcoming, and dedicated to making every customer happy.
