Kings antipasto was an amazing portion and equally as delicious.
My second visit in as many weeks - could not get past the Seafood Risotto which is some of the best I have ever had ! My friend constantly ordes the veal chop parma which is a test of man against food - it is enormous. Great lunch venue.
What I love about Bond 45 is that while in the heart of the Theatre & Tourist District, it still feels like New Yorkers and regulars own the place, even though out of towners very welcome. When I see tourists peruse the menu as I wait for my husband, I tell them "go in you won't be sorry!" The serving staff is first rate, thank you René. Look forward to returning again (and again and ....)
Food was good but not great. Service was good. Thought it was overpriced ( $28 for Lasagna, $47 for veal parm).
Bond 45 is a favorite of ours in the theater district. They have recently added gluten free pastas to their menu, along with vegetarian and vegan options, so worth checking out if you have not been there recently!
While there are restaurants with better Italian food, Bond 45 deserves kudos for making a celebratory dinner a memorable event. Celebrating my spouse's birthday after attending a broadway show, we were greeted with complimentary proseccos for the adults and colorful drinks (in champagne glasses) for the kids. The service was attentive with an appropriate level of friendliness. At the end of dinner, the host came around with a tray of freshly-baked double chocolate cookies. From beginning to end, an enjoyable experience.
Very good food. The ambiance was great.
always love this restaurant when in the theater district. the noise can get crazy but the food and service usually make up for it. Portions are large and perfect for sharing. they also serve a very nice drink. we look forward to returning.
Including 3 beers, 1 dessert, and 2 entrees (one an 8 oz filet), bill was $139ish. Somewhat pricey but worth it for excellent food on a special occasion. Nothing fancy for 'foodies', but nice combination of steak, seafood, and house-made Italian food.
