Good choice for theater district. Service is great. Food is good. The only drawback was although they have a Lunch and Dinner price-fixe menu on thier website we had to ask the server for the price-fixe menu. They did not offer it or indicate whether there were specfic days/times when it is used.
I had the Pasta in the basil pesto sauce and it was incredible; my friend had the salmon with couscous and it was very fresh.
Loved the feel of this restaurant with dark stained wood, detailed ceiling, and comfortable leather seating. The service was fantastic. They made us feel very welcome and did not rush us at all. When asked about a certain dish, the response was very descriptive to the point that you could visualize the dish. Fried calamari and shrimp was cooked well and the peppers gave it an extra kick. The fresh vegetables were amazing. I thought I was in Italy eating artichokes that were just harvested.
I've had Bond45 on my must visit list for about 4 years now.... never had a bad experience. The food is always good and their antipasto selection is outstanding.
Overall experience was very good. Sound level not very loud and food was excellent. We had our VDay dinner there and we thought the service could had been faster but we can't complain at all for the food and atmosphere. Would recommend and go again!
Fine experience except for the smell of sparklers on birthday cakes taking away from out appetizer and the overly friendly (and intoxicated) mom at the table next to us quizzing us about Abraham Lincoln. Food was good, service was solid. Would go back, but would hope for different neighbors.
What a lovely surprise this dinner was. We always wAlk by and finAlly decided to try it out. It was delicious! We loved all of our dishes. The pesto is a must have if you are a fan of pesto. We will definitely be back!
Overall good, not a "WOW" experience. Little portions and overpriced, but eating in NYC, Times Square, what do you expect? Found other little treasure spots while there, in the Theater District/Times Square, which had better food and ambiance. Probably would not go back, but certainly would not say "Don't go there!".
