Service was fantastic! Asked the waiter what Bond 45 was known for - he said steaks then pasta. Went with a filet and a pasta dish, wonderful food! Steak was cooked perfectly! Tables were a little close together but other than that a great experience!
I was there with friends from NY/NJ area; we meet in NYC every 6 months or so, and this is one of our hangouts. The food seemed to take a little long, but we weren't going to the theatre, so we probably got the end of the line... We were having so much fun, we found a way to occupy the time....
Perfect for a dinner before catching a show.
Ok for the location. A bit pricey. Hot spot, always busy / crowded. fortunately we came in just at the beginning of the rush, so our service was very good. Server was a delight, very prompt, attentive and pleasing. Food was ok. had to send back my steak as it was not cooked as ordered, then replacement piece was dry even though Medium rare. Have been here before and for the food & price a bit disappointing.
Its been years since I attended the restaurant and have found it to be just right for a business lunch. However, this time, one of my guests ordered something that the restaurant was out of and had to order something else. The other guest was a pregnant woman and they made her sit in at the higher level. I would have appreciate it if they had gotten us a table in the lower level. Unbelievable steaks and the service was perfect. Try the housemade Burrata with Tomato and the NY Strip. We would definitely recommend to anyone and will be back soon!
I brought a group of clients here and it was superb. The Italian items are incredible and the steaks that everyone got were some of the best we've had. In addition - they have a GREAT winelist with a ton of things that we drank. We had a few different bottles that were perfect with our meals. I will definitely be coming back to Bond and would defintely recommend it to anyone who wants an incredible steak dinner. This really puts the other NYC steakhouses to shame.
Good, not great. I had the veal milanese which was soggy but tasty. The waiter recommended the house made mozarella which was very soft and not as special as I expected. Same with the crispy artichokes which he also recommended, just OK. The house bourbon drink was delicious. The prices are high side for the quality. The atmosphere is nice. We sat on the upper level on the right which we liked. I have sat in the bar area in the past which is good too.
Antipasti are especially delicious. Pasta is fresh. This restaurant was especially kind to my young son.
