We love Boulder Creek but things were a bit off during this visit. Salads served before appetizers and then entrees came (all the food all at once). Walleye has always been delish this time though it was dry/tasteless and a very small portion, beef medallions ordered med rare but served well done. Hard to carry on a conversation due to the noise level!

The atmosphere was outdated and didn’t seem to have the same attention to detail as their other restaurants. My meatloaf was over cooked and had the taste of sitting in a cold pan then reheated and served on an overly hot plate with low quality bbq sauce painted on the meatloaf chops that looked like Bill Gates fake meat. Boulder Creek Is always festive for the holidays. The music would make it feel a little more upscale if it were jazz or holiday instead of 80s. Most of our food was on point. However the lobster and crab ravioli in garlic cream sauce special was disappointing. There was no garlic flavor. The cream had something sweet like nutmeg in it so took away from the seafood flavor. It won’t keep us from returning though😊

Food was really good... especially those chicken fingers. However, service took a little longer than should have. Although it seemed our waiter was serving multiple areas of the restaurant. Not an issue with him, but with management preparing for the appropriate needs.
