Friendly, personable attitude during the consultation is not a substitute for the surgical outcome! All problems occurred in the surgery room. My eyebrows collapsed just a few days after surgery with all the creases as before. He not only didn't make it better but made it worse. Now I have an indented area above my eyebrow with the bag of skin formed right next too it. Dr. Harbison is friendly, personable, and will spend time with you during your consultation. He didn’t rush the visit.However, this is not a substitute for the surgical outcome! My daughters appt initially was not pleasant but he seemed to know what was going on. The surgery was a mess with communication. However the worst was the follow up - which should have occurred in 3 weeks, wasn’t scheduled until over a month later. At both appts he was late. This last appt he was 20 min late, apologized and was confrontational. I said the appt started at 4:30. His response was, “and?”. Absolutely one of the worst medical appointments I've had the displeasure of experiencing. Terrible bedside manner as someone else already mentioned. I couldn't get a word in, and he blamed everything on me being overweight, instead of trying to hear me out. He grudgingly said he would do procedure, only after trying to advocate for myself as much as I could, which was difficult because he would just talk over me louder when I would try to say something. Awful. Absolutely awful. Couldn’t even tell him everything that was wrong without an interruption. Took a look at my ears for literally 5 seconds. I’m worse off now than when I went in. Awful bedside manner. Hideous. Tried to tell him my ears hurt but like I said couldn’t even muster a sentence. He seemed to think I was an idiot for asking questions. Never again. Do NOT see this doctor.
