Get directionsMy mom seems much calmer, she was in another home for 2 years and because this is a totally Alzheimer's unit she's much calmer and she's always very clean. When I go there, I've eaten with her here and the food seems okay, the fact that she can go outside to a little garden area and not beep because of security, that's a good thing. I've had a little bit of trouble with them with filling with insurance, we didn't have that problem before, and it isn't resolved yet but I'm not really sure if the problem is insurance or emerit... read more
It looked like a fine facility but you didn't get as much for your money. It was more expensive and there was not as much space or as much provided.
We love the location, love the patient portal. Maintenance issues are really bad though and there are not enough activities. I just think the residents there are waaaay past living in the real world.

All the "5" categories speak for themselves. The cost of residency seemed much too high. Her monthly rent was $[removed]. My opinion is it was about overpriced by 50-75%. The deposit was $[removed]; none of which was rebated back when she vacated, leaving the apartment in excellent condition. She passed on [date removed] btw, with the majority of the month of April unoccupied. The company sent a check to her estate for $[removed]. Someone is making money somewhere. Summing up, the living/care experience at Brayden Park is hi... read more

We moved my aunt in because we were told that it was the best place in town. It is also close to our new house. Within a month, my aunt had gained 20 lbs, she was swollen from head to toe and having trouble breathing. Because we were new in town (in fact we hadn't completely moved to San Angelo) I asked the charge nurse for a referral to a doctor and asked her to make the arrangements for her medical care. They put her (age 103, with poor hearing and vision) on the bus and took her to the dr. There was no one accompanying he... read more

My loved one is currently a resident at Brayden Park Assisted Living and Memory Care. The biggest problem at this facility is the staffing. They are short staffed as well as have constant turnover. The meals are okay, but cold by the time all the residents have their meals. The housekeeping is inconsistent. With the present situation, I would not recommend Brayden Park Assisted Living and Memory Care to others.

My loved one went there from a nursing home. She was there five days before she had to go back to the hospital. The place was very nice. The people were very nice. If we’d been there longer it might have been a better experience. I paid for half a month in May and then I had to pay for June, and she was only there the last five days of May. They won’t give me the money back when she wasn’t even there. I had to pay $4200 for five days. It was a nice place and all and the people are nice, but the cost was really high.
Business response:
Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your loved one was unable to stay in our community. Our records show that you were charged the non-refundable community fee and a half month’s rent for May. Regarding the rent for June, as per the contract signed prior to move-in, we require a 30-day vacate notice, and as we received your notice on June 2, we charged for the full month of June. Unfortunately, we cannot refund a resident’s family for any time their loved one spends away from the community for a hospital stay as the... read more
