We looked at a lot of facilities when deciding where to bring her. This place is immaculately clean, and my mother likes the food and the people. When she needs them, they're good. The therapy services were one of the reasons we choose Briarwood. The food always looks good and my mother eats it, even though she is pretty picky. The communication has been great.
Everything was okay.
The staff is nice and I am truly overwhelmed by the care for my loved one. The communication is good!
They have good people there and they let people dine with them in the dining room. It's clean. My mom only gets therapy once a day and none on the weekends. I do not think she gets it enough. The doctor says two days without therapy and they go back to where they were. They need more people.
The therapists and nurses are doing a good job. It seems pretty clean. It takes a while to get help. My mother does not like the food but it looks fine to me. I have to ask questions and I do not get much feedback.
I think the relationship between the patients and workers makes it excellent. I think that the care that my husband gotten so far, as far as the nursing and staffing, has been great and they have been very attentive and helpful. The overall attentiveness and patience is very good. They’re very available and helpful when you need them. There is no odor at Briarwood. It's a very clean and fresh smelling facility. He loves the PT therapists and nurses. The therapists are all wonderful. The nurses' care are good. Communication is very good and they always answer my questions. They all communicate well. The physical therapists will let me know what he is doing and how well he is doing. They encourage us. The girl at the nurses’ desk is lovely and at the front desk are helpful. He had an issue with a nurse coming into the medication and did not explain how to take the medications. It is a bit outdated but they keep it clean. He shares th... read more
My mom had good physical therapy care. There was some miscommunication with Social Worker but she kept me up to date. People were very friendly. The front desk was okay. The laundry did get mixed up a little bit, so it took me a few days to get her clean laundry.
The staff is very friendly, helpful and caring. The staff and nurses are excellent. I have been to three rehab centers and this place has no bad smell. My mom loves the food. She has apple sauce and soups. Their communication is excellent and they called me when she first got there. It is fantastic. I like the social worker and she communicates well. She was there for rehab a year ago and she is not getting that anymore. When she had it, it was great for a week and was walking.
