Bru is an ode to our love... the Burger. It’s a classic, purely American, and an icon. The hamburger is the people’s sandwich, everyman’s food. Paired with a beer, we can't imagine what could be much better. Our goal is to bring you great burgers made from the best local meats, topped with the freshest ingredients and placed in our freshly baked buns.

I have eaten here for lunch pre Covid and was very satisfied so I was surprised that my dinner experience a couple of years later was not quite up to par. The service was fast and friendly but the server couldn't even tell me what craft beers were on tap and the menu just stated seasonal. She tried to get help from the bartender and others but was mostly ignored. It was a Saturday night but not quite busy yet. Beginning burger was good. However the fries were burnt. We were not asked if we wanted dessert. And since the check was brought to us instead of being asked for dessert, we were told that we had to leave because our table was reserved for someone else. This has never happen to me.before.

We had 5:45 reservations when we arrived the host had to clear our table and left us standing for about 5 minutes before seating us. After we were sat, it took our server 10-15 minutes to get our drink orders, so we started off rough. Once she took our order, things improved with her service. My Mexicalli burger was good but couod have used more guacamole, I had to look to see if they put it on, definitely couldn't taste it. great food, waitress was difficult to find at one point but attentive when she returned. Lots of noisy young adults in attendance which is good for downtown.
