A nice assisted living facility. Close to hwy and area of Waxahatchie. Amenities and available staff make it a step above.

What we like the most about the community is the love my mom felt from everyone. They all worked together to get the residents taken care even if it was not their job.

All of the staff is very helpful and friendly. They respond quickly to emails and answer any questions you may have. They respond quickly to accidents. My mom broke her hip and they were on her quickly (residents wear a necklace with button to push), called ambulance and myself.

I can give all categories a 5. It was the best place for her the last months of her life. She passed away peacefully there on [date removed]. I was often concerned about the expense and if she would outlive her funds but God knew her time and it was not an issue. She was on hospice while there but everyone worked together and she was taken care of so well. They truly love their residents and I know it's not easy to do that all the time!

My mother moved into memory care but after a few weeks it was evident she could go to assisted living. The transition and move was handled easily and in a few days as there was availability. Mom is doing well although in her declining years at 97. I always feel secure that someone is keeping an eye on her and she is never forgotten. I love the small population of residents and the staff from top to bottom do whatever it takes to get the residents what they need. The residents and staff have a monthly meeting for input for the next month's group outing. The facility has an enclosed courtyard that was a big part of Mother's decision to choose this facility since she has a little dog. Staff is loving and kind to the residents. The management raised the cost almost 10% a the first of the year.

I couldn't ask for better care. I was so grateful for their care top to bottom I bought flowers and a huge box of cookies from a bakery for the whole staff. The facility is so clean and feels more like a hotel.

Buffalo creek offers activities outside of facilities about once a month at no charge. Including going out to eat and picnics. Staff is very caring. We picked this community, because of the cleanliness, proximity to family, activities, and friendliness.

5 stars for everything! We are very pleased with our experience at Buffalo Creek so far. It's a modern and cheery place. The employees are helpful and pleasant. They have a nice variety of activities for the residents. One of the key factors for my mom was having the enclosed courtyard where she could walk her little dog. There are a variety of different apartment sizes and some open onto the courtyard as well as the interior hallway. Approximate square footage ranges from 400-600 square feet.
