Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba is the best spanish tapas restaurant I've been to in Chicago. Located in the heart of Lincoln Park this spot is great for Groups who are open to share a lot of small plates. Top Dishes: Potatoes Bravas (Spicy Potatoes) Goat Cheese in a Red Sauce Stuffed Mushrooms with Aioli They just redid the extended seating and added a retractable roof for the summer - great addition!
easily one of my favorite spots in Chicago! come for tapas and sangria, stay for flamenco dancing. check in on foursquare for free pintxos, and eat drink and be merry! also - brunch is great! bloody bar is amazing and fantastic brunch tapas.
If you want to go out to eat with a large group of girlfriends, be moderately loud, drink copious amounts of sangria and eat delicious tapas, go here. I've never gone with fewer than four people as it's always the more the merrier with tapas. I recommend the patatas bravas. Yum.

Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba is very understated and kind of elegant in its own way. Their menu is extensive, their sangria is delicious and the food is amazing (well priced as well!). A handful of tasty dishes, a lot of solid ones, and a few mediocre tapas. Good sangria and good atmosphere, so I keep visiting this place whenever I go back home to Chicago.

Good tapas...nice atmosphere I have been craving tapas for many years since I studied abroad in Spain. I never knew where to go until I did a search on Urbanspoon. I got there right when it opened for dinner and sat at the bar. Everyone was friendly (the greeter, server, etc.).
