Cafe Fiorello is a classic Lincoln Center area dining experience not to be missed. Yes it is noisy. Yes you have to squeeze in and out of small areas at times to reach a seat. But you always end up interacting with some fun New Yorkers in the process. It's a great place to go to eat when you have theater/opera/concert tickets in the area. On a thursday night the crowd was a little bridge-and-tunnel and loud, but the staff is exceptionally nice and the food is quality food and authentically italian. Being italian, I rarely say that about a restaurant.
The food here is always better than average. The draw is the proximity to Lincoln Center. The problem is the crowds and service which is friendly but overworked.
This resturant was just "good" at best. The food looked better then it was! The thin sliced margarita pizza was good not great. Ordered the antipasto ...4 vegetables and 2 seafood and thought the portions were extremely small with a $28.00 price! It is convenient to Lincoln Center and thats about all!
This occasion, my mom's 90th birthday, was lovely; the servers were attentive, and sang Happy Birthday (in Italian). The food was excellent. Fiorello's is truly a reliably wonderful place for any occasion.
It is a gem worthy of it's location and a sure bet before crossing the street to LincolnCenter.

Food bar very enjoyable and scenic
Great lunch spot before a show at Lincoln Center. The combination plate was perfect. I believe it was called "bento". Attentive waiter. Chocolate chip cookies after lunch was a nice touch.
