We have dined here often over many years--the food is always good, but the service can be erratic. This past time, our waiter disappeared after we were served our entree, reappearing long after we had lost any interest in ordering dessert.
As always, the food is tasty and nicely presented. This time, after an absence of some years, we found one or two items rather bland. But we would still return!

Always good even when it's not up to par ... You will get a very friendly & warm reception at the front desk no matter how crowded it is. The servers are professional & really know their menu. This was our first Saturday brunch in a long time but we did not order "brunch" food - we had veal milanese & lasagna. Love this restaurant. The food is consistently outstanding. This is a perfect West Side location, especially if you are going to an event at Lincoln Center.
Generally we really like the food and the service here but on this night, the food was off and the waiter was preoccupied elsewhere. We'll chalk it up to an off night all the way around!
The food was very good, the service amiable. The fried baby artichokes are the best.
