Always reliably excellent food. Always a positive vibe.
Decorations for the holidays were beautiful. Service was great and the food outstanding. Veal was tender and moist we will return soon.

We had the meatballs as an appetizer and split a pizza. Both were very good. The pizza was a little bland for my taste, even with the pepperoni, but the super thin crust was great and not filling. Café Fiorello is an old-school Italian restaurant. With its location across from Lincoln Center, they get a lot of high-end clientele from the Central Park West neighborhood and the Lincoln Center performers, so the prices are not all that reasonable. The food portions are enormous, so you may order an entrée and split it between two people or bring half home and get another meal out of it, so despite the prices, you can get value by getting two (or even three) meals for the price of one. Really good basic Italian. Very flavorful. Or server was excellent and he and restaurant were extremely busy. Didn’t treat our twosome any differently than his table of 8 or others. Sincere and clearly loves his job. Very big and busy, energetic noise but could still talk at our table without shouting.
We had a delightful dinner at Cafe Fiorello. It was a bit noisy, but that was to be expected. The food was delicious.
