I have always given Cafe Fiorello the highest rating. I consistently return. But this was not a pleasant experience. I had a reservation with a special request, that is usually honored, but this time it was not. It was overly crowded, uncomfortable, and the service was terrible...very disappointing! The food, however, was very good.

Cold food was a surprise
I had my birthday dinner and the staff was fabulous. Really made the night special. And the food… still dreaming about that bread! It’s our #1 spot to take friends when they come in town.
We always enjoy our lunch or dinner at the Fiorello---the service and food are good.
They put us in a tight corner where the waiter could barely get to us. I had to call the waiter to start to service us. I was a little disappointed as it’s a favorite spot and staple place to eat.

A favorite spot when attending Lincoln Center but food was very disappointing this visit. Outdoor seating was greatly appreciated. Butternut lasagna was not hot enough and sent back. However, even reheated it was very disappointing. Squad seem to be unevenly mashed and not puréed. Generous portions. We had the prix fixe lunch. Dover sole was outstanding, and chicken parmesan excellent. We took almost half of the chicken home.
