I was at Cafe Fiorello with friends twice within the last three weeks - once for a Sunday brunch and once for a weekday lunch. The first time everything went well, the food was very good and the service was attentive. On the second visit, although the restaurant wasn't full, the service was subpar. I had a reservation for 4 but we got only 3 bread plates, and it was impossible to get anyone's attention to get the 4th. Then my appetizer arrived - the Italian Wedding Soup. This is my favorite when going to a Lincoln Center event. It’s convenient, the food is excellent and the wait staff are friendly. Come early because it gets crowded and leave time (and room) for dessert!
Perfect place to eat before Lincoln Center although noisy. Deserves more recognition for the delicious food
