The food wasn't spectacular or even memorable and was overpriced. (I ordered the 3-vegetable entree.) I don't enjoy paying close to $5 for a cup of coffee. That's what coffee costs in a hotel and this isn't a hotel restaurant. The service and ambience were outstanding. It was lovely dining outside. If I had a pretentious "friend" or someone who was more into the superficial than substance, I'd recommend the restaurant. This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant and eat it all the time and will continue to do so.
Wedding anniversary
The waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. It took a bit too long to get our main courses. And, why was there no bread; this was greatly missed; the so-called Covid excuse is without merit, as all other restaurants we patronize serve bread. One more thing, your wines are grossly overpriced and, as such, only one of the four of us ordered a glass! There's no need to gouge.
We had a vegetable Pizza which both of us agreed was one of the worst. It had a series of vegetables but the six cuts were made so the other person was unable to partake unless the pie was recut. it did not matter. It would have not been worthwhile as the pie was full of excess oil. The third person had a much better meal, crab salad with avocado. That was fine. Will think twice, maybe three times before returning.
Birthday dinner for my husband. Excellent!
