Mid-pandemic it is still comforting to see how much attention and support we get as diners at Cafe Fiorello. Our experience was wonderful, and it made me remember how great this restaurant is - especially if you choose to come AFTER the theater crowd has left for their performances. During the pandemic, the restaurant is properly quieter and calmer - and that's certainly not good for business - but you'd never know it from the care and courtesy of the welcoming staff. Always enjoy eating here. Reliably very good. Ample portions, many tempting items on menu to choose from.
Enjoyed dinner before the opera. My boyfriend and I shared the calamari and short ribs meatballs for appetizers. The meatballs were absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The calamari was good. Then we shared the grilled veal chop for entree. Also, highly recommend. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and the dish came with sauteed assortment of mushrooms and potatoes. Cafe Fiorello really brightened a dreary, rainy day. Appetizers, entrees and desserts all hit the mark. Service excellent, too. Wonderful dining experience.
I remember having the Lasagna 9 years ago. If anything it was better than I remembered. We chose to eat outside on a bitterly cold night. The Cafe did everything to make it comfortable but of course the ambience wasn't as warm as it would've been inside. We'll be back.
