Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

We've been there numerous times and keep coming back! The food is delicious and creatively presented. The service is very attentive. We've sat both inside and outside and enjoyed both.
We were welcomed by the setting and served warmly by all. Wine was very good, although measured. Received tasty table bread to dip in unusually good olive oil. We are older, so we shared a salad, which was exceptionally good, then a salmon main course which was cooked as we requested and attractively presented. Dessert was very good, as was coffee and after dinner liquor. We were never rushed, despite the restaurant rapidly filling up. Noise level increased with customers, but it was musical, as customers were happy.
We ate outside and the atmosphere was OK but not great (of course, we had just had a downpour). The waiter was OK, not always around. The food came about 5 minutes after we ordered, which always worries me a bit. None of the dishes were great. OK, but not memorable. The calamari appetizer was bad. The cheesecake was routine. At the end, when you're looking at a check of $170, you really ask yourself, was this worth it? The answer was pretty clear.
My friend and I had 6:15pm dinner reservations, with a nearby 8pm curtain at Lincoln Center. We should have had plenty of time to walk over, but it took a while to get the check. This isn't unusual in restaurants in NYC, and I don't know why. We didn't have to run to make the curtain, but we didn't have extra time either. Otherwise, the service was excellent. My friend and I ordered 3 small dishes and shared a pasta and it was all excellent. I ordered one of their special cocktails, and it could have had less ice and more co... read more
We love Cafe Fiorello. Been dining there for many, many years... sometimes before seeing a show or concert or movie -- and other times, just for a great meal. Their antipasto bar is especially wonderful. You can select any of the mouthwatering items on display up front, some of which are specials that change from day to day. With so many tables, the wait staff is a bit overworked during prime time, but they manage it. Only had one bad experience with a rude waiter at Fiorello, but he seems to be gone -- so no complaints. Great place for dinner! Lots of fun, great food and wonderful service.
The food is delicious and the wine list is ample. Atmosphere is always bustling with the Lincoln Center dinner rush. Skip the "bucket of mousse." There are better options on the dessert menu.
Had a lovely brunch. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Very enjoyable.
Love this place. Best pre-show spot for Lincoln Center preformances.
