Great food and excellent service
First time there .....definitely won’t be the last !
Always a good meal. Still do not understand how a cup of tea is the same price as a cappuccino ($5.50). Mmm...
Love the antipasta, and the seafood risotto was really rich and flavorful.
My mom and I visited Café Fiorello on Sunday after we saw a concert at the Met. We had a reservation for 8p, but we’re seated shortly after we arrived around 7:45. The restaurant is a little bit cramped and noisy, but the service and food made up for that ten fold. Our waiter, Pavel, was very attentive and friendly. We celebrated a 50th anniversary in a special booth in the back. Quiet and wonderful.
Really enjoyed this visit with my daughter before the ballet. She had the eggs benedict Florentine, I had the salmon with quinoa salad. The dishes were tasty and service was good- we didn't feel rushed and had time to talk without being disturbed. The noise volume was manageable, unlike other area restaurants where I feel like I'm screaming at my companion. We had a fabulous brunch there! We arrived just before the buffet was ready to be served. The menu had some really good options and one member of our party was able to get an enviable vegan option as well.
Good start: reservation was honored immediately. Restaurant is beautifully and tastefully decorated. Waiter hit the mark with his selection of 5 antipasto items for our table. Linguine carbonara and the "open-face lasagna" were both excellent. Only negatives were a lack of more lunch options on the menu and the noise level. Neither would keep us from coming here again, however. Overall, it was great.
