Not as good as it used to be. Quality has gone down. Disappointing but not a disaster.
The food was creative and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. The antipasto choices were each special and tasty but not overwhelming. They all worked with each other regardless of your choices. My pasta and incredible meatballs were eaten pasta by pasta to savor the flavor and because I eat too fast sometimes. Cafe Fiorello offers reliably excellent food at reasonable prices. It is justifiably crowded and not the place for quiet conversation. The service was superb. I have never been disappointed there.
A great place pre-theatre. Try the lemon tart with caramelized lemons-really, really good.
food good but service very poor and table quite crowded and uncomfortable. you would think that in the hours of 6 to 8 pm they would have enough waiters to afford their customers some reasonable level of service NOT!!
