Delicious traditional Italian, service excellent, festive atmosphere, the waiter made sure we got to our event at Lincoln Center. Perfect location.
The reception and food are always exceptional here. We love the joy and pride the host and staff bring to this dining experience. The Prix-Fixe lunch menu is fantastic! Antipasti for the table to start...Perfect! Burrata/tomato salad and a seered scallop main course..DEVINE!! My friends from Guyana loved their dishes also and the Chocolate Mousse Finale.....da morire!! Too many tables makes it feel uncomfortable and noisy. But the food is always great. Especially the cannolis which are not on the menu.
We asked for and received a quiet table. The server was quite good. The food was good, but not great. It is fairly expensive for what it offers, but is a good spot for access to Lincoln Center performances.
Crowded on New Year’s Day but our reservation got us seated right away at a booth that was sufficiently tucked away that noise was surprisingly not an issue — conversation was not a problem. Waiter was attentive, cordial and helpful. Flat drink was replaced immediately. Focaccia was replenished promptly. Our food was delicious: vegetarian selections as hors d’oeuvres, pizzas, Dover sole, salmon, cheese cake. No feeling of being rushed to free up table. Nice experience!
