Cafe Fiorello is an institution across the street from Lincoln Center, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. Fiorello's is a great spot for pre-theater dining. Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for a post-theater dinner, a light bite at the antipasto bar, or cocktails and dessert.

While our food selections were delicious, service was very, very, very disappointing. We ordered 2 appetizers, but only one was served/. When we reminded the server we ordered two, he said he only had one listed, and the entrees were ready. So we skipped the second. We ordered a tartufo to share. It was served on the plate, not cut for sharing as requested and no garnish, ie, whipped cream in presentation. This service was not up to the standard we expected from this restaurant.
Another new restaurant, I chose Café Fiorello largely due to its location across the street from Lincoln Center where I was headed for My Fair Lady. The place was very busy (a good sign) with a largely pre-theater dinner crowd. I was seated near a wall of windows overlooking the outdoor patio seating. The salad was a basic one of romaine lettuce with parmesan frito and a flavorful, semi-tart, dressing. Th... read more
Dinner is usually very good. Tonight the marilena said was wilted and smaller than usual. I was disappointed.
