Perfect place after a Lincoln Center event as there's plenty of room and the ambiance keeps the celebratory mood (if you've enjoyed a performance) upbeat and a little glitzy. The alcohol is pricey (expensive real estate!) and there's a great choice of interesting things to choose on the menu from a small or large plate of very good vegetable antipasti (on display at the bar) to great pizza and great Italian main courses. Food & wine were great, but the table was horribly cramped. Very loud & difficult to have a conversation. The margarita pizza & the calmari were excellent.
The food is EXCELLENT! From the soup to appetizer to our main course meal, everything is delicious! The location and service is perfect. We will definitely come back for more!
Sadly after dining here of and on for the past few years, while in NYC, i think the flair and style have diminished greatly. Food was standard and came in huge plates..no garnishing whatsoever...linguine was absolutely unavailable, just like the last time. There was no lobster, and it is plentiful here in CT. The artichoke appetizer was good. Service was subpar and lacked graciousness. I think i will now try another restaurant when i am in NYC. I stay near the Lincoln Center, when in Manhattan. Very disappointed.
A long-time staple of the Lincoln Center area, Cafe Fiorello was lively and fun. The waitress was extremely attentive. The pour on the Pinot Grigio was extremely disappointing for $13.00 a glass. Shame on them! Our friends shared a selection from the upfront antipasti bar. My boyfriend and I shared a Caesar salad with a nice dressing. I ordered their special open-face lasagna. Great meal and service.
I am a regular at this restaurant and it is always very good. The service is especially notable at the bar area. Super friendly and attentive service.

I was offered a table in a rather quiet section of this busy restaurant which was greatly appreciated.The veal chop parmigiana, for which the restaurant is famous, was a real treat indeed. The waiter recommended a side dish of asparagus which was delightful. All-in-all, the dining experience became the first act of a truly memorable evening. This is a dining experience that I plan to repeat!
