Fiorello's is priced high due to its proximity to Lincoln Center. If you are okay with paying touristy prices and/or are limited to a certain neighborhood (the latter being my reason for going), then I would highly recommend it for a well-prepared classic Italian meal in a traditional old-world ambiance. A great place for pre-event dinner just across from Lincoln Center. Reservation absolutely needed. Has outdoor tables but noisy and right on Broadway, so stay indoors. Has a great anti-pasta selection.
Server was lovely, also patient with us as we sat down, we hadn't seen each other or chatted for years. Did not expect large chicken filet with very modest size salad, would have preferred sizes reversed. Wonderful for pre-Lincoln Center matinee.
Always a winner before shows at Lincoln Center, Cafe Fiorello is good food, good service, and has a great vibe. My friend and I sat at the bar before a matinee dress rehearsal ballet. Sitting in front of the antipasto bar made our lunch choice a "no-brainer!" We split five antipasto choices and loved every one. Pre Swan Lake ballet lunch....celebrating my mother in laws birthday as well. Staff were on point with all my special requests, food was great...will be our go to next time we are at Lincoln Center
My family and I LOVE this restaurant, they make everyone feel like your a part of the family! They go out of their way to accommodate their customers. The food is delicious and consistent, which is why I always get the Snapper Livernese. They are constantly bringing out huge trays of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies to share with the dinners! I can't say enough great things about this restaurant, but I can say YOU must go, you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!
We were lucky to have a table that was somewhat tucked away. Otherwise the noise would have been unbearable for us. We had a great server and the food was delicious, if richer than we usually eat. I was able to make a meal of the ribollita, but the tab was still high -- and we had no alcohol, since we were going to a show at Lincoln Center after dinner and wanted to stay awake. All in all, it was a great choice for us and we had good food and a good time there.
Although the service was fine and the location convenient to Lincoln Center, the food (all of it) was mediocre at best. Even a basic Bloody Mary was watery and not worth drinking. Didn't expect gourmet but this was not very good at all.
Wait staff was very attentive. Everyone very pleasant. Atmosphere very nice. Food excellent and portions plentiful.
