The food is good and plentiful. The service has gone downhill. We didn't receive a wine list with our menus. We had to wait quite a bit before a waiter came over and then he wanted to take our orders immediately. Meanwhile, we had to ask for a wine list. We polished off a very good meatball appetizer. My wife and I had dinner at Café Fiorello this past Saturday before we attended Aida at the Met. The Host greeted us as if we were family. I had questions about the menu, and the waiter was extremely helpful. The large bar in the center of the restaurant made for a very festive atmosphere. The place was busy, but we never felt it was rushed, loud or crowded. In fact, we spent over 90 minutes in the restaurant, and could have stayed longer. They have a nice menu. This is an excellent choice for post-theater dining. The menu is varied. The food vry good, and the service excellent.
The wait staff and manager were very professional and courteous We had 3 groups of 4 at 2 diff times and 2 extra showed up and the allowed us to change tables twice Great location before a show! Great food Great place to celebrate!
