This restaurant has been around for a long time, and for good reason. They know how to serve delicious food for people who are crunched for time. Try the veal chop or the scallops with mushroom risotto.
Cafe Fiorello was a great choice post ballet performance. The food and service was very good. Chicken parmigiana pepperoni was delicious.
We use Fiorello's for pre-concert dining. The food is always fine with interesting selections to vary our choices. Reservations are honored and prompt. Service is excellent, getting us out on time without ever getting a feeling of being rushed.
Although we're in an economic slump, 2 friends and I had the Prix-Fixe lunch. I ordered well, with vegetable soup with poached egg for an appetizer. My eggplant parmagian main course was presented in the center of a dinner plate and surrounded by arugala. I was expecting lunch, but the table was given brunch menus. There were plenty of options to suit all tastes, and the food was good. No complaints there. The host kept telling us to wait, answering the phone instead of seating us. The Maitre D' deserves 5 stars. He quickly "rescued" us from the lame host. My daughter and I went there for lunch before going to the Nutcracker. Very fancy place but the waiters were very nice and helpful. They didn't rush you. The food was excellent and the dessert was so fresh, it's like they just made the whipped cream just before serving it. Totally recommend this place.
Always great. Spaghetti Lobster Carbonara. Open faced lasagna. Enough said.
