Second time having early dinner pre Lincoln Center event. Enjoyed our evening and the crowd. Had strange seating issue upon arrival. Firstly were seated in nice window 2 top, but next to someone encroaching upon banquette w his backpack and watching phone videos without a headset. Really uncomfortable, so we moved. Next table was unset and wobbly. Felt off, but my BF had it rectified and us moved to a center 4 top which worked out much better. When we arrived the host was rude. There was no one waiting but I found him very rude. It’s very tight and very loud in this restaurant. The food was good but not great and far from excellent.

Great place located across from Lincoln Center- so they get pretty busy! Ambiance & food worthy. Unfortunately our server on this visit could not have cared less about our dining experience. We still tipped well!!👍

Server was excellent. I ordered a portion of Brussels sprouts from the antipasto bar, swallowing the upcharge for 1 veg instead of 3, and the add-on piece of salmon you would get with a salad. Food delicious, 7 halves of sprouts, however, was a bit of a disappointment. Will be more careful in ordering next time I dine here.

We had a fabulous dinner at Cafe Fiorello! We were in New York for an opera at the Met and the location couldn’t be better. The service was outstanding and the food, cocktails, wine, and dessert were perfect. We are from Chicago and always appreciate a top quality restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
