Fiorello's always does a great business, because the food is very good, and the service is as well...The appetizers, and the homemade burrata can't be beat.

On our third visit to New York city we once more took in an event at the Lincoln Center prior to which we dined again at Cafe Firorello. My wife again ordered Fiorello's take on lasagna and found it to be just as delicious as she had remembered. I had the seared scallops which were excellent. The variety of appetizers and salads; all on display, alone is enough to stimulate your appetite. The staff is excellent. There when they need to be, and not the least bit obtrusive or aloof. Since Cafe Fiorello is literally right acros... read more

The ambiance was good. The service was fair, mostly due to busy time of year, assuming. The food was good, but very small portion of fish on the pre fixe lunch. Dessert small portion of gelato. Good soup appetizer. Would I go back, maybe. Not if very hungry, unless not chosing the pre fixe menu.

I didn't expect such a great experience as we had at Fionellis. The wine list was fantastic and they even had Rombauer Cab, one of California's best. The selection at the Antipasta bar was over the top. Our server, Brian, mad the Christmas dinner very special....We will be back for sure! Prices were reasonable for what you got and the atmosphere was warm and nice decorated.

food was good, service was good, although little to no accomodating effort. Overall good but pricey.

We almost chose Boloud, but that long tunnel looks awful and uninviting, can't imagine how oppressively stiff the ambience must be. We opted for Café Fiorello as we've been there before and the ambience in the front area is just right. The food was excellent - the Artichokes alla Giudea were perfection, and the open lasagna was an experience (Oh, that's another thing - the staff are not stuffy at all, in fact they're perfectly friendly) - really, who wants to eat in a tunnel when you have the perfect classic restaurant a few... read more

Fiorello is expensive, but unique. The thin crust pizza is one of the best in the city (almost like a Matza-pizza, but better), and the plate of anti-pasta vegetables is varied and fresh worth every cent. The rest of the items on the menu are more mainstream. The waiters are edgy and want to clear your plate even before you finish. They are efficient with refilling the water, but I had to yell at our waiter to stop clearing and offering the next course before everyone at the table was finished.
