We had diinner there on Chhristmas Day and it was very busy and noisy. However, despite that, the service was quite good nd the food was wonderful. We'll return when it's not quite so hectic and offer another review.

This restaurant is consistently good: food, ambiance and service beginning with the seating.

We've eaten scores of great meals at Fiorello since the 1980's. The long record of consistently terrific meals we've enjoyed there is really remarkable. Reliability like that is hard to find. As a result, Fiorello is the only eatery along the several blocks of Broadway fronting Lincoln Center that still survives from the '80's. Some changes are, of course, not for the better: decades ago they served a fabulous Tartuffo with hot chocolate sauce, that just isn't there anymore. But the Tiramisu, even though different, is still ... read more

While there were many waiting to be seated, the Maître D seated us immediately having recognized my name from my Open Table reservation. We couldn't be more pleased. My friend had the plate of mussels and I had the trout. We shared the dishes and both were delicious. The service was very good considering it was so crowded. The waiter was very pleasant.

We booked Cafe Fiorello days in advance for dinner on Christmas Day for 2 people+a baby. We had to wait almost half an hour for a table, even though there were plenty of tables available, as they did not have ready a table in which we could have the stroller ( average size) beside us.It was 6 pm, we noticed not other children in the restaurant during the almost 3 hours we were there....Definetely not baby/kid friendly! Beautiful food, lovely wine and friendly staff. Very slow service though

We don't visit the city often, but when we do we make sure to visit one of the many fine restaurants in NYC. We visited Bond 45 last time, and Cafe Fiorello's this time, after an afternoon at the Opera. We were very pleased with Cafe Fiorello's as well. Their specially "open" lasagna is a personal favorite. The service was attentive, but not hovering. We'll be back.

Cafe Fiorello never disappoints. The "tapas"/seafood bar is beautiful to behold and fun for single dining. Sit in front where you can view the bar and look out, across the street, to Lincoln Center.
