It is a great restaurant. It is good for individuals.. couples, families and groups. The staff is friendly and also responsive and warm. I have come to this restaturant for 30 years.. and so I eat here more than any other one.. also because I do live in the neighborhood.
Always our first evening of dining when spending the weekend in Manhattan!
Great when going to Lincoln Center
The food was very good as usual but why did it take 15 minutes to get our drinks and 3 times to get the bill right ?
This is a new favorite for us, although we had a minor glitch. The food was outstanding and the menu was varried and interesting. Sometimes I wonder why I subject myself to the crowdedness of Cafe Fiorello. The tables are very close to each other and the waiter could hardly squeeze through to our table. And, I was disappointed that Proscuitto with melon was not on the menu. Also, there was no regular Veal Parmigiana offered, but rather a veal chop that was flattened on the bone for an astounding $48. That being said, I thought the Veal Piccata was excellent and for a dish that is generally served in small portions, bountiful.
I had not been back to Fiorello's since I moved back to town. What a delight to find it as vibrant, fun, and delicious as ever!
a tad expensive but its New York across from Lincoln Center and it was full. Wine was a little high for the house wine by the glass $17
We ate at Fiorello before attending a concert because it is very convenient to Lincoln Center. When we arrived the resturant was packed full. We had to wait even though we had a reservation. Once seated it was calmer. The sevice was very attentive and the food good, but not great.
