My impression of the service is that they just take for granted that people will continue to walk through the door. They do nothing to make you feel like you are worth their time. They were, however, considerate to ask if we were seeing a show and needed to be done by a certain time. They offer a great variety of food, but the preparation lacks love. Cafe Fiorello is an experience. While it is very busy especially weekend pre-theater they have never failed to get us out on time. If you are looking for a noisy good time this is the place for you. If you like quiet and reserved, find another spot.

We returned to cafe Fiorello for a second time on this visit to NYC before jazz at Dizzys and were so happy we did. Love this place! Had the 6 vegetable antipasto plate for dinner which was perfect for me! Just what I like...delicious but not a multi course heavy meal. My friend had the Caesar with chicken, which she eats all over e world as a staple, and said it was the beat she could remember. What an awesome place. Excellent location right across the street from Lincoln Center. I had the lasagna -- not your typical lasagna. It was so good! It was very crowded and you will be very close to the people you are sitting next to and will likely be engaged in conversation, but that's fun, that's New York.
