Loved it !! Can't wait till the next time !!! Location is Great !!! Super close to downtown, just 2 minutes away. Love the gym and heated pool. Great views of the mountains and enjoyed hearing the tropical music playing throughout the day. Extremely relaxing !!!
Good Did not have good outdoor lighting. Blinds in my room were broken in a few places, could see straight into the parking lot so I know outsiders coysee in. Close to airport. Good price.

Vintage charm and superior grounds with great staff - at affordable price! Carpets, paint, wall damage - all could use attention. On the other hand, if all these things were perfect the rate would double, so I'm good with the way it is. Unbeatable for the price! Location has mountain views, setback from busy street, fantastic pool and garden area and nice restaurant and bar. Staff couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. Repeat stay for me and I look forward to returning.
We chose this place because of the vintage look and we are huge fans of tiki bars! Had a blast! The carpet in our room seemed worn. The location was great, central to everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We liked the new tiled shower & showerhead! Love, love loved the Reef - onsite tiki bar!! Yummy drinks, coconut shrimp and friendly bartender!
Will be back again! Location and able to open windows in the room.

Kitschy fun vibe, great staff, bring ear plugs. The only real complaint is the mechanical noises—we heard the plumbing engage every time someone used water (all night) and the wall unit AC is old and loud. It wasn’t the best sleep and if there is a next time, ear plugs are a must. A piece of architectural history—we had no idea our motel was on the Modernism tour (listed as Tropics Hotel) until we were guided back to it!
