A relaxing tropical getaway There was a speaker outside in the garden below our room which started playing music quite early. The hot water also ran out in the shower a couple of times but not major and that is to be expected in the desert, I'm sure! We absolutely loved our stay at the Caliente Tropics. Perfect wind-down place in the desert Wonderful location for a relaxing desert day. Beautiful mountain views from the pool. Nice bar. Laid-back atmosphere. Everything feels a little outdated but in a very charming way. Spacious rooms. Very friendly staff.

Tiki hotel, with tiki bar, and tiki vibes! Nothing to complain! the only minus, maybeeee would be the location. You reach the city center, you gotta use a car or a bus, walking would take you 30-40 minutes. But that wouldn't be an issue... we can't wait to get back and enjoy some tiki drinks at this lovely location! We were a little bit sceptical about what to expect of the hotel, as it was crazy cheap compared to other hotels in Palm Springs, however as being a tiki fan, I really wanted to spend a night there. Great for a short stay. No options for breakfast The Reef restaurant was very disappointing. The food was marginal. Doesn’t open until noon during the week. The other Mexican restaurant doesn’t open until 11. There was no place to get breakfast or coffee during the week. We didn’t have a car and there were no other restaurants close by. Everything was very clean. The staff were very nice.

Gemütliches mexikanisch angehauchtes Hotel. Sehr laute Klimaanlage. Da es sehr warm im Zimmer war, mussten wir die Klima auch nachts laufen lassen. Aufgrund des damit verbundenen Lärmpegels war die Nacht nicht sehr erholsam. Sehr großes,sauberes Zimmer. Gemütlich eingerichtet, bequeme Betten. Das Ambiente hat uns richtig gut gefallen.
