This company is a scam. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to move short or long distances. They overcharge, have poor communication, damaged lots of our belongings, and took forever to deliver. They also refused to process our claim so we got nothing back.

I called California Exodus Moving and Storage 48 hours ahead, they gave me a commitment without a down payment, and they were great communicators. The movers who arrived were efficient, fast but careful, and friendly. Everything you can hope for. Big thumbs up to these guys.

I recently went with Cali Exodus to move cross country from SoCal to NYC. There is a review from my girlfriend Vivien posted here and on other sites. CLAIM: Filing the claim was an extreme hassle, as they asked for receipts and proof of purchase on items that were years old, which we clearly did not have. They reinforced that our claims would be processed based on the type of insurance we purchased with them, but that was not the case. This is, I guess, the fourth time I am using California Exodus Moving and Storage. And, as always, they were exceptional. They always arrive on time or early, as in this case, get right to work, move all my belongings with care and caution and take the stress out of moving. I would highly recommend them to anyone for any moving needs. They provide excellent service, great communication and a staff that is a pleasure to work with. I would never consider using anyone else or not doing it myself.

Hired them to move from California to NH. Upon pickup date, they did not show, no phone call or update. Movers showed up the next day claiming to be hung over. Waiting an exact month for my delivery. Upon delivery, I had a significant number of large furniture items missing, including my bed, desk, bookcase, and an original art piece. If I could make a long story short I would. So here l will try. I was given a quote for $10,800 that turned into over $23,000 after they got it all on the truck and had to call for another truck to complete the job. The supervisor that showed up two hours into the move did the actual inventory. Laughing at just how wrong the original inventory was.
