Do not use this corporation. The doctor is not in the office frequently and because of that you cannot ever get returned phone calls. They have not been able to complete disability paperwork and we are almost 6 weeks out from the surgery that left him unable to work. He was not informed at the time he was diagnosed with cancer that he would even be missing any work he found out the day of surgery that he could not return to work! I had a very bad experience with California Skin Institute. I really don’t recommend it
went yesterday for my first visit. Saw Dr. Shanice Watts. She didn't really listen to my concerns, said any spot or redness was just genetic. my biggest concern was a mole I wanted removed, she just shrugged it off. Didn't do a cancer screen as I had wanted since I am fair skinned and have spent lots of time in the sun. Told me everyone should be on tretinoin, I said ok but she never gave me a prescription for it, said look it up on good rx and left the room. I feel it was a waste of my time. The nurses and doctors are very thorough and pleasant.
Excellent Doctor's especially Morganroth. But front desk staff is slow and not especially friendly. Also it is near impossible to get someone to answer the phone. It took me 7 tries and when I left my call back number on the general voice mail, they called at 4:56pm. I couldn't get to my phone in time to answer. I called right back and the message said "after hours".
