I wanted to replace my existing front door with one with decorative glass to let more light into my entryway. I was concerned about security and I wanted it to match the custom mahogany 3/4 lite backdoor with door dog installed that they built for me last year. They worked with me to design a beautiful door that met all my requirements. Very punctual - showed up as promised.

We wanted a storm door that would be sturdier than the previous door we purchased at the big box store. We also wanted professional installation. The salesman sat down with us and: 1. Gave a free quote 2. Measured the door frame 3. Suggested a bronze frame to blend in with our wood grained front door. 4. Suggested the satin nickel door handles. 5. I actually looked on Angie's List and found Cambridge. My wife and I were hesitant at first but then we met with Mike and he came out to the house and was very professional and reassuring. Our door and sidelights were not standard size so everything needed to be customized. Everything came out great. It is amazingly beautiful and the craftsmanship is refined and rock solid. First off. You get what you pay for. Big box stores have doors for cheaper price but quality of the product is lower and installation will be by third party that you are not able to check the ratings on. There were other companies that have doors that are a little overkill for what I need for much more money. When looking for someone to install a door I wanted to find someone with great amount of experience that installs doors all day everyday not just sometimes. Created custom mahogany 3/4 thermopane glass door and installed max boss security dog door. I love it - excellent quality and looks beautiful - matched stain of my front door. Replaced existing door and I can always put old door back in the future when I want to sell if buyer doesn't like the dog door.

GREAT. Cambridge is a small operation and so they can't install the next day, but are worth the bit of time we waited for the windows, weather, and their schedule. But they are very upfront about delivery timing and save for weather met that goal. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive but I can't imagine and install going better.
