Mike, the owner, came onsite to take measurements and provided a detailed quote price and detailed description of the process. Will and Carlos removed 10 years old builders' grade rear entry door and replaced with new door. Items used were as follows: Endure Performance Standard rot proof FrameSaver door frame; Endure Performance Standard Force 5 Door Systems; Emtek Products, Inc. hardware; and Western Reflections door. After we placed the order, we were told it might be around a month to get the door installed. Surprisingly, in less than 3 weeks we got the install scheduled and the door hung. The installers were on time and very experienced. Very clean install and We are very happy with our new door. We would highly recommend Cambridge for such needs.
It went well. Met with Mike 08/17/2016. Expected 3-4 weeks for door to arrived. Diana called 08/26/2016 to schedule installation. William and Carlos arrived Monday 3:30pm 08/29 and finished morning of 08/30/2016. I am uncomfortable with all service providers due to past experiences. I do things for my home because it is my home but am usually disappointed. This time I received respect and courtesy from skilled professionals who gave me a good job.
I had 5 windows from another contractor who did not come back. I talked to Mike Stinson from Cambridge Doors and Windows and asked him if he could install these windows i had sitting in my garage for 2 1/2 months. Mike was kind enough to take the job that someone else left behind and get our windows installed in one day! They worked quickly and efficiently right before the rain started here in Missouri City. The short version - Mike, the owner, knows his business and has high quality standards. His employees are like family and each of them knows their jobs extremely well. Besides Mike, I interacted with Diana in the office and on the phone and with Will and Carlos who did the door installation. All were conscientious and polite. Good experience all the way through the process. I met with Mike who knows his business extremely well, and although he was not the least expensive, we could tell he would do high quality work. Because my patio doors were old, they had to custom make the replacements to match the other set. Due the full exposure they get to the weather, I needed to insure the right materials were used to protect the framing from rotting again towards the base, which was a priority for me.
