We had a great RV rental experience with Canadream in Halifax. the staff were friendly and understanding of the time we needed the RV rental for. The RV was in very new condition and our stay in the RV was wonderful. Recommended to our family and friends.

We're currently on a 2-week road trip through the Maritimes with 3 other couples. We picked up our 4 RVs in Elmsdale outside Halifax. The staff made very sure we understand everything, including all the penalties. The 2019 24' RV (built by Forest River) is an excellent unit, with all the latest technology. Unfortunately Canadream kit them out with the absolute minimum. No levelling steps (chocks) or level gauges. Just returned from 2 weeks campervan rental with Canadream out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. This was our third booking with Canadream and each time it has been excellent. We had a 2015 model which was brilliant and one small issue was quickly rectified by a quick phone call. They could not have been more helpful. If you read the booking form so that you know what you are getting, there are no surprises and everything was exactly as described in the brochure. Excellent!

Just returned from a 23 night rental with a 21 foot camper van from Canadream in Calgary. Put over 3600 miles on it! Check in was great, got a good "tour" of the van and how it all worked and drop off was easy and no issues. Deposit for "issues" was promptly refunded in full. Went over our mileage allotment and the payment was as expected. Got the pkg for linens and kitchenware which was very worthwhile. Great Staff greeted us in Vancouver and were very thourough with the prep and review of our RV. Made sure we had the necessary maps for our travels to Calgary and we were on our way in no time. RV ran smooth the whole trip with no issues. Upon our arrival into Calgary the staff again greeted us with good vibes. Made sure we were good to go with no issues and we were set to go. although the Camper itself was nice we had several problems the screen doors broken we couldn't use them the toilet broke it was broken we couldn't use it we try to get a hold of customer service and they really weren't a whole Lotta help telling us that we would have to wait and see at a later date what might be able to be compensated when we return the van we were not met by any sort of friendliness whatsoever the woman Stephanie Carnes was quite rude and I really wouldn't recommend this company.

This company nickles and dimes you to death with exorbitant charges. Halifax Canadream charges your credit card $1,000 for potential damage at pick up. You are told when at pick up if the vehicle is returned without damage you get it back. That is not true. Without any invoice they remove gas $ you may or may not owe, generator use or extra kilometers on only their word. It is not mutually agreed upon. I took the vehicle with 3/4 tank full. Will NEVER rent again from them, beware of your money and look to rent elsewhere, their damage policy and conduct is below ridiculous. they do not maintain their vehicles properly and then expect you to carry the damage costs. we had a driver's side mirror fall off during parking with no one touching it, simply fell off as-is, did not brake and all parts where returned, yet they charged us over $450!!! did not provide any documentation to explain what was wrong and did not take responsibility over their fault, there was no... read more

A minute ago Beware of the "specials"!! Don't do it. Not a good experience! The constraints on the 'special' price RV were ridiculous. 2000 km from Enfield Nova Scotia to Brampton, NW of Toronto, meant that we could not deviate from the TransCanada highway for more than 125 km. We barely had enough mileage to go off highway to the RV parks [usually 5 to 10 km off the road].
