Just returned from a weeks vacation in a Canadream RV. PICK UP was in YVR and drop off of the RV was in Calgary. The RV itself was fantastic. Great condition and we had no problems with it at all. I would warn that the company will not work with you at all for pick up times. We were flying in from Toronto to Vancouver and wanted to pick up the RV as close to 1 as possible. Deleting negative Posts is not the right way to work on customer complaints, nor not being able to find the customer in the booking system! Shame on you! Chosing this company you will be passed from employee to employee if there are questions. For instance adding an additional driver on a daily basis might be possible according to the employee, the next one keeps telling it is not. I've experienced better may not be the best option but A-Ok doesn't fit. We had a nice time camping and once the RV was parked it really was beautiful. There are just too many reasons not to rent though. For one, it is way to expensive. We only wanted the RV for 5 nights but were told we had to pay for 7. That doesn't make sense to me. We rented a RV from Canadrean N.S. Canada for 3 weeks from July 18, 2017 to August 8, 2017. This was suppose to be our honeymoon trip. Just before we were to fly in to Helifax to pickup RV there was a family emergency. We contacted Canadream to notified them that we would not be able to pick up the RV on July 18th but would be there a few days late. While we are only contractually obliged to hold the booking for 24 hours after the scheduled pick up date, we made an exception in your case and held the RV booking while we waited for further advice from you. I would not trust this company with renting a lawn chair. The contract ius long and favours only them, and they will charge you for every little thing you use or do or places you go. They will charge for damages you may have misses at pickup as your excited to go and even though they see it will not point it out. There have been pets in several of the units, despite them saying they do not allow this, same as smoking. I neither smoke or have pets and my allergies went off like crazy. Like other reviews, had a terrible experience. Tons of extra costs, rude staff, and the RV was not in good condition when we got it (doors swinging open/broken lock for example). We were also promised multiple things in writing by email that were not delivered. We were promised a 4 person bike rack but when we got there they only had one two person left. We had to wait 2 and a half hours after the pick up time to get our RV. This is just a small list of things that went wrong. I wish I read the reviews before choosing them.

This place sounds like a joke valid concerns were brought up by a customer and like all company's someone is quick to answer with all the greasy loop holes and the things that you signed off on. Not taking into consideration that people may just sign off as things being excellent because there sick of some moron rambling on and on about something you already know or that there is tin foil over the mess in the oven things like that. 4 of us rented the large rv with canadream we used it to get from vancouver to Calgary the deal was good at first and looks good until the fine print is read all these hidden costs that should be included and aren't for example the cleaning of the unit is not included they actually made me scrub the oven when we arrived probly somebody else's baked on crap that they just had tinfoil overtop of, when we left vancouver the hubcap flew off after the third turn and I tried to tell them it was there fault they charged us 80 for t... read more

Was not even 1 hour into our trip when things went down hill. Stepped down onto a piece of plastic and cut my foot. Only if we brought them hospital documentation would they take any responsibility for it. You think you get a good deal, then you read the fine print. $10 to rent a lawn chair, $12 to rent a toaster. $100 just If you turn on the generator.
