I did not have a good experience with Dr Cantor at all. Firstly, each of my appointments I waited for HOURS past my appointment time. Very rude and disrespectful of my time and work schedule. Then, Dr Cantor tried to scare me into surgery by using scare tactics of what could happen if I don't have the surgery with him. Keep in mind, other surgeons.were telling me I didn't need the surgery but I wanted to cover my bases. The worse experience of my life. 9 months after surgery still in pain worse than before. If my life depended on it I will not let him touch me ever again. Stay away.
Very nice start with a caring front desk staff member with a bad ending. The Dr. seemed to not bother with me or my questions because as he said after my brief 15 minute visit, I was a 2 on a scale of 1-10. No patient information was breached but he then showed me a 10 out of 10? Really? Very condescending, dismissive and furthermore, no one bothered to sort out multiple insurance denials after they started requesting I have procedures. Something I am certain they deal with often. I had surgery January 4th 2021, it was the biggest mistake of my life. Dr. Cantor may be a good surgeon, but he is an unprofessional MD and human being. After the surgery he never checked on me, I was scheduled to be discharge the next morning but his PA Hayley told me I need to wait for her to comeback at 5:00 pm to discharge me. At 5:45 PM, she still was not there so I asked the nurse at ICU to call her and find out why she was late. We find out that she was visiting other patient and she will come to discharge me last. If I could have given a zero I would have! I was told Dr. Cantor would provide a complimentary MRI review which it even states that when calling in on the automated phone service. I did receive the MRI review with Dr. Cantor which lasted 20 minutes and a third of that time was spent with him giving me weight loss instructions which I hadn't asked for. Not thinking anything about it only to receive a bill from Dr. Cantor for $ 1,046.00 for that "Complimentary" MRI review. I disputed this charge but to no avail they aren't wil... read more
Office staff are amazing and so nice to deal with. Making appointments is relative easy as well. Wait time before seeing Dr Cantor was almost an hour. Dr Cantor spent about 15 minutes in room and then abruptly left without an explanation. No explanation just walked out of the room. Not a very nice man. You decide
I heard Dr Cantor speak @ Holy Cross Hospital about a procedure treating arthritis of the spine with a minimally invasive technic with Ultrasound . He stated "this treatment works for everybody for all age groups and the last procedure you will ever need for backache. So I called his office, made an appointment 30 days later, but when I went in he told me you are 92 three different times and you are not eligible for this treatment. Decided not to have surgery with Dr. Cantor. Seemed too fixated on money (extra fee over insurance).
His office staff is unresponsesive,no one returns phone calls. Accounting department is harmful,dangerous and unresponsive. They turned my paid in full cash account into collections, damaging my credit score , where the damages accrue to the very time of this written review and have been for about six months. Medically, Dr Cantor prescribed the wrong pain medication resulting in agony for me until someone from his practice came to me in the hospital at 4:30 AM to sign off on the corrected medication.
