SENT FOR MRI REVIEW AS SHOWN ON THEIR WEBSITE, GOT A PHONE CALL FROM A WOMAN THERE TELLING ME THAT MY MRI REVIEW WAS GO TO MY LOCAL ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR , NO REASONS OR ANYTHING??? THAT WAS MY MRI REVIEW??? VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS!!!
Dr Cantor, attempted to correct partners surgery accomplished in 2020, 2 yrs later in 2022. More extensive surgery. My personal impression of Dr Cantor’s diagnosis about 1st unsuccessful surgery, was that it was not accomplished properly. 2 yrs after second surgery 2024 Dr. Cantor, medical issues reappear. Dr Cantor’s NP sees me because of new and accelerating issues. She orders xrays and MRI. Dr nor NP willing to speak with me in ref to MRI results. They don’t respond to calls. Received a very high recommendation from a friend who had surgery done by Dr Cantor. I filled out the form for an appointment on the website and did not receive a call. So called the number to make an appointment and was told they do not accept Medicare insurance.
Someone needs to train the people at the front desk to greet and welcome and smile at the patience. They also need them to be trained on how to answer the phone. Because you can never get a live person. You can only leave a message. I left three messages all were on returned. No excuses for bad business practice. I never got to see the doctor. Their policy is you have to drop off your MRIs reports and Any medical records prior to even making your first appointment to see if you need surgery. If not they recommend you go to t... read more
I did not have a good experience with Dr Cantor at all. Firstly, each of my appointments I waited for HOURS past my appointment time. Very rude and disrespectful of my time and work schedule. Then, Dr Cantor tried to scare me into surgery by using scare tactics of what could happen if I don't have the surgery with him. Keep in mind, other surgeons.were telling me I didn't need the surgery but I wanted to cover my bases. The worse experience of my life. 9 months after surgery still in pain worse than before. If my life depended on it I will not let him touch me ever again. Stay away.
Very nice start with a caring front desk staff member with a bad ending. The Dr. seemed to not bother with me or my questions because as he said after my brief 15 minute visit, I was a 2 on a scale of 1-10. No patient information was breached but he then showed me a 10 out of 10? Really? Very condescending, dismissive and furthermore, no one bothered to sort out multiple insurance denials after they started requesting I have procedures. Something I am certain they deal with often. I had surgery January 4th 2021, it was the biggest mistake of my life. Dr. Cantor may be a good surgeon, but he is an unprofessional MD and human being. After the surgery he never checked on me, I was scheduled to be discharge the next morning but his PA Hayley told me I need to wait for her to comeback at 5:00 pm to discharge me. At 5:45 PM, she still was not there so I asked the nurse at ICU to call her and find out why she was late. We find out that she was visiting other patient and she will come to discharge me last.
