I have an account at Canyon View. I must say that the customer service I receive at the 500 South branch is commendable. Both Kennedy and Lola have offered customer service that is focused on the customers' needs. Both Kennedy and Lola have a communication skill that interacts well with the customers. They both have positive communication skills with the customer and as a result, the experience at Canyon View is well worth the visit.

I have used the 5th South 5th East Branch since they opened. The staff are always polite, helpful, and friendly. I have also used many of the other branches around town and have found them to be professional and helpful. I would recommend this institution to anyone who does not like banks and the fees they charge their customers. You can access funds throughout the states and in Canada through shared access to bank machines. I have been a member of the credit union since 2003 and have not had any problems with them.

I have been doing business with University Federal Credit Union for the last two and a half years. When the economy crashed back in 2009, myself among millions of other Americans lost their jobs. Needless to say the next 4 years were very tough. Although I never faltered on loans, or credit, there were some inherent rough patches. Fast forward to 2013 after I luckily landed gainful employment again, I had to find a better means of transportation, and needed to rebuild my credit. I was banking at America First Credit Union w... read more

Great customer service! Over the years, I have banked with both Wells Fargo and U Cred, sometimes simultaneously. U Cred has infinitely better customer service. I'm not just talking about in the branch, but also in general. Any lost or stolen cards and they immediately help you (unlike Wells Fargo, whose representatives were a nightmare to deal with when my purse got stolen...). U Cred immediately refunded a disputed charge to my account via a separate incident (unlike Wells Fargo, whose bureaucracy may take many weeks to pr... read more

Terrible online system. So many days without access to my online account (which is how I primarily did my banking with them) sent my account into a snowball of fees due to their negligence. Needless to say I closed my account after 25 years with them. Apparently a balance was left in fees due to their lack of access to online banking. They sent it to collections and severely impacted my credit file. I have the worst taste in my mouth from this institution. How they set you up for failure so they can benefit from fee after f... read more

Business response:

Patty, we're truly sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with our online system. We strive to provide seamless banking services and it's disappointing to hear we fell short. We appreciate your loyalty over the years and would like the opportunity to make things right, please email socialmedia@ufirstcu.com. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon!

Ufirst recently redid their website and it is a NIGHTMARE. For two months now I have not been able to make loan payments online. Their response is "we're working on it". What? You're a bank and its 2023, how can I not make a loan payment online? And just to be clear, I work in tech, so Im generally pretty savy at navigating a website. Save yourself the hassle, go with a major credit union like Mountain America.

I support local banking but this is ridiculous rinky-dink 19th century banking. Repeated frustrating attempts with my online e-banking and transfers that turn into fiascos - they will make excuses, point to fine-print loopholes, take your money and run. Do not try international banking, do not try scheduled bill e-payments. It's simply an excuse for UFIRST to charge lucrative fees for non-services. Tired of the games with customer service reps who dodge all responsibility. Onward to find a modern service-oriented bank.

First of all, what kind of Bank won't change an exited toddlers change into bills? I guess I could've lied an said it was mine. Then you surely would've deposited it... I don't believe you when you say you can't count the change. What kind of Bank doesn't have a change counter?! Do no business use your services?! But maybe I do believe you don't have the capacity to help a little guy given the obvious incompetence of the teller I was working with. The card I got never worked in the first place. Only the chip so I found mysel... read more
